We require full payment at the time of the booking. All prices on the website are per person, unless stated otherwise. All prices include VAT and taxes. All extra costs at the attractions stops are included, such as parking fees and museum entry.

Payment for our tours is made through a secure payment gateway. When you make the payment through our site, full payment is charged to your credit card. We pledge to make that process as secure as possible and we use SSL security through GlobalSign.

If a tour is cancelled due to weather conditions or road closures the tour is refunded or you can book another day. Payment amounts are set in our local currency, the Icelandic krona. There may be a small variation in the amount received in refund due to changes in the exchange rate between booking and the time of refund. We will refund the exact same rate in krona as paid. We do not assume any risk associated with currency exchange ratios. 

If your plans change please give us as much notice as possible, we will do our best to help you. Cancellation requests must be made by email.

Cancellations have to be made with 24 hour notice before the tour start time otherwise full payment will be taken.

The War Tour declines responsibility for any loss, damage, accident, sickness or changes in schedules caused by weather, strikes or any other irregularity outside of our control. We reserve the right to alter routes or departure times when necessary due to weather or road closures.

All information given to the seller will only be used regarding your booking. For instance if we need to contact you. We also use third party services to manage your booking and collect reviews, like Tripadvisor. 

The Icelandic law requires each passenger to fasten their seat belts while the mini bus. Failure to comply with this may mean you being asked to leave the bus.

Due to the nature of our tour involving the history of World War Two, we would like to make it clear that we will not accept any hate speech on the tour, any pro-nazism, anti semitism, holocaust denial, or making the nazi salute, even in jest. We reserve the right to remove you from the tour if you act in these ways.
